SOLUTION OVERVIEW

Continuous Preparation, Frying and Finished-product Handling for Fresh-cut French Fries

This line is designed for the continuous production of fried French fries, covering potato selection, washing, sorting, cutting, blanching, cooling, dewatering, frying, de-oiling, seasoning and packaging. Equipment specification, heating method and packaging arrangement are confirmed around project requirements.

REFERENCE PROCESS

Continuous Process for Fried French Fries

The process is organised from raw-material selection through washing, sorting, cutting, blanching, cooling, dewatering, frying, de-oiling, seasoning and packaging.
  1. 01Potato Selection, Washing and SortingPotatoes are selected, washed and sorted before entering the cutting stage.
  2. 02Strip Cutting, Blanching and CoolingPotatoes are cut to the required strip size and connected to blanching and cooling.
  3. 03Dewatering and Continuous FryingDewatering controls product condition before continuous frying develops the target colour and texture.
  4. 04Continuous Frying and De-oilingMesh-belt frying develops the target colour and texture, followed by vibratory de-oiling and finished-product conveying.
  5. 05Seasoning, Cooling and Packaging InterfacesDepending on the final product, the line can connect to seasoning, air cooling, metal detection and weighed packaging.

PROJECT CONDITIONS

Key Process Configuration Considerations

Raw-material condition, strip dimensions, blanching and cooling requirements, dewatering, degree of frying, seasoning format and packaging method all influence module selection, conveying rhythm and plant layout.
Preparation and Frying ConnectionPotato selection, washing, sorting, cutting, blanching, cooling, dewatering and continuous frying are connected in stable process sequence.
Finished-product DeliveryPost-fry seasoning, cooling, inspection and packaging interfaces are selected for the final product, pack format and factory conditions.
